Logo Analysis 2

I chose to my second logo analysis on the Montreal Canadiens because it is a brand that I have admired my whole life (being a fan of the Habs was sort of a birth right in my family). Their colors represent the traditional colors of the Montreal heritage. Blue also represents power, success and trustworthiness. This is an accurate representation of the team considering they hold the record for most stanley cups. Red also represents power, passion and vitality. Since the habs are one of the original 6 and have one of the largest and most dedicated fan bases, this to is an accurate color representation. Overall, the Montreal Canadiens have a impactful logo because its colors and letters intertwine perfectly with what they are all about.

Logo Analysis 1

I chose to do my first logo analysis on LEGO because it is a well known brand who has strategically and successfully climbed its way to the top and become one of the most well known toy brands. The red in their logo symbolises their vitality, efficiency, excitement and strength. Each new box of LEGO's presents a new adventure. The yellow represents positivity, cheerfulness, playfulness and amusement. LEGO is about bringing out the happiness and creativity in children and the inner child in adults. Their font choice also shows a more playful laid back way. Overall, LEGO's logo is effective because it evokes all the sentiments that go hand in hand with their mission and values.

Meme Analysis 2

I chose this meme because (again.. yes) I am an avid reader or as I like to call myself; a self proclaimed bookworm. I love memes that I can relate to, and this is another one that speaks to me. When I start reading, I get so wrapped up in my books that I don't realize time passing or anyone speaking to me, its like I'm in the book and I can picture everything being played out in mind as if I were watching a movie. It is the best feeling in the world, like my personal utopia. Some nights before bed I will tell myself just one more chapter and then next time I look at my watch its 2 a.m. and I've finished the book. I love the cartoon animations in this meme also because it is exactly how I feel. I also love the "346 minutes later" reference to spongebob! This is a great meme and I hope I am able to make a relevant and well thought out meme like this one!

Meme Analysis 1

I chose this meme because as an avid reader this is one of my biggest struggles. On my own personal blog I follow many about other blogs about books and this meme was all over my feed and I found it so relevant to my own everyday life. Recently I read the Divergent series, I had to wait 8 months after reading the second instalment of the series for the third to come out. I no longer remembered anything that I had read so I had to go online and read the synopsis for the previous 2 books. This meme speaks to me because it is so easy for me to relate to in my everyday life as a bookworm. I love the set up of the meme and the cartoon expressions used because as a little bit of a drama queen I picture these as my exact reactions to this situation!
